Founded in October 1997, Zibo Guangyuan Biological Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter called “Guangyuan”) is the first company to produce long chain dicarboxylic acids from N-alkane in China, with fermentation technology from Chinese Academy of Science. Guangyuan is also the first company which realizes the industrialization production in this field. Main products of Guangyuan on diacids are Undecanedioic Acid, Dodecanedioic Acid (DDDA), Brassylic Acid, Tetradecanedioic Acid, Pentadecanedioic Acid, Hexadecanedioic Acid, which have got the certificates of ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004. Its diacids brand Guangtong is famous in diacids industry.

The project of long chain dicarboxylic acids has been awarded by Shandong, Beijing and Chinese Academy of Science. Brassylic Acid was named as National Key and New Product by State Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce of P.R. China, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of P.R. China. Hexadecanedioic Acid invented by Guangyuan, was patented in July 2012.
